When Innovation Wings Industries wrote a $30 million check to Doroni Aerospace, it wasn't a bet on a concept. It was a commitment to a production-intent flying car that has already received FAA Special Airworthiness Certification and completed 70+ successful test flights.

The deal — which includes a joint venture for manufacturing the H1-X in Saudi Arabia — values Doroni at $209 million. And while institutional money is validating the opportunity, Doroni's Reg A+ offering means individual investors can still participate at $3.10 per share.

Why the smart money is paying attention

Morgan Stanley projects the urban air mobility market will reach $1 trillion by 2040. Most companies targeting this market — Joby, Archer, Lilium — are building air taxi services that require billions in infrastructure (vertiports, fleet operations, regulatory frameworks for commercial passenger service).

Doroni took a fundamentally different approach: personal ownership. The H1-X is a 2-seat eVTOL that fits in a standard 2-car garage, charges from a standard EV charger in 25 minutes, and requires only a Sport Pilot License (20 hours of training). No airports. No vertiports. No ride-sharing.

"We're not building an air taxi. We're building the personal aircraft for the 21st century. You own it. You fly it. From your driveway." — Doron Merdinger, CEO

The certification advantage

While Joby and Archer are pursuing FAA Part 23 type certification — a process that has cost each company hundreds of millions — Doroni is pursuing Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) certification under the FAA's modernized MOSAIC framework. This is a faster, cheaper, and more achievable path to market.

Doroni already received FAA Special Airworthiness Certification in December 2023 — making the H1-X the first 2-seat personal eVTOL to achieve this milestone in the United States.

The investment opportunity

Doroni's current Regulation A+ offering through DealMaker Securities allows both accredited and non-accredited investors to participate. With a minimum investment of $998.20 and bonus shares available at higher tiers, the offering is designed for broad participation.
